My best friend from high school's mom, Dorothy Mull, got us VIP passes to the California State Fair last night, where we attended the mini-rodeo, "Bull Fest". Mrs. Mull grew up in a ranching family in Folsom and has been going to rodeos all her life (she's 80). I love all the events, but think you must have too few brain cells to be a bull rider; it's insanely dangerous. One of the great things about being back in Sacramento after 20 years in the bay area is the reminder that there are so many other ways to live, and make a living, than high tech and software.
